Fungsi : Untuk mengukur Garam yang mengandung anion molibdate, MoO4. Garam molibdate paling sederhana adalah M2MnO4 ( dimana M = Logam monovalen) jika anion MoO4 diasamkan akanterbentuk anion polimolibdate, salah satu anion tesrbesar adalah ( Mo7O24) .
