The OS-30p is a highly portable and cost effective modulated chlorophyll fluorometer designed for dark adapted stress measurement.
Great for detecting stress causing agents that effect photosystem PSII.
The OS-30p provides direct readout and graphic display of Fv/ Fm, Fm, and Fo, the most used stress measurement parameters.
Up to 8, 000 measurements can be stored on the OS30p or may be transfered to a PC for spreadsheet analysis or storage.

OS-30p Chlorophyll Fluorometer
he OS-30p is a low-cost, hand-held
Chlorophyll Fluorometer optimized for rapid
field measurements of plant stress. The Tlightweight, ergonomic design along with the
accurate fluorescence detection system help make
the OS-30p an invaluable and reliable evaluation
tool in a wide range of research disciplines
including: Plant Physiology, Horticulture, Agronomy
and BioTechnology.
Both the OJIP and the Fv/ Fm test modes allow for
in-depth investigation into the photosynthetic
process. Test data is displayed conveniently in
graph form as well as numerically. Parameters
measured include: Fo, Fm, Fv/ Fm, Ft, T ½ as well
as basic OJIP & Area above the curve.

Two key design features implemented with the user
in mind are sure to facilitate instrument operation
and sample handling. The new integral probe
makes leaf orientation and measurement faster,
easier and less cumbersome. An additional benefit
of the built in probe is it eliminates the risk of the
probe being dropped, misplaced or otherwise
damaged.
The second key feature is the on-board Help menu.
If you' re stranded in the field without the manual, no
need to worry, our comprehensive text menus will
guide you through any problem and even help
inexperienced users complete their tests.

laboratory, field research and teaching applications
has finally been realized with the OS-30p. The
accuracy and performance are of the highest
possible quality yet the price remains extremely
affordable. Furthermore, it is practical, user-friendly
and will benefit nearly every researcher whether
you’ ve just starting out with Chlorophyll
Fluorescence or have been using the technique for
years.
The OS-30 offers on-board storage capacity of over
8, 000 measurements. A rechargeable battery with
up to 8 hours of field use make those frustrating trips
back to the lab a thing of the past. Data can be
exported to a PC using the built in computer output
and Opti-Sciences Data Capture software. As
always, we include a cable, software and battery
charger at no extra cost. 10 dark adaption leaf
cuvettes are also included.
Test data can be reviewed or deleted simply by
using the scroll keys. A straight forward keypad
outlay allows users to quickly chose test mode, set
test duration, light intensity and other test
parameters. The large, backlit graphical display is
readable in dark or light conditions.
