PETRO-CANADA SPX Compressor Fluids adalah synthetic lubricant yang diformulasikan secara khusus untuk memproteksi high temperature and high pressure gas compressor operation. Berbeda dengan standard mineral oils, polyglycol synthetic lubricants ini memiliki lower gas solubility, yang dapat mengurangi viscosity dilution and sangat baik untuk pemisahan lubricant dari proses gas.

Volumetric efficiency dan energy saving yang tinggi merupakan tambahan keunggulan dari product SPX 5000 dan SPX 7000 dibandingkan dengan standard mineral oils lainnya.

Applications

SPX 5000 is recommended for:

* Compression of light hydrocarbon gases, propane and sweet natural gas.
* Lubrication of gears will not stain yellow metal.

SPX 7000 is recommended for:

* Compression of hydrocarbon mixtures containing butane and other light hydrocarbon gases where the expected dilution by gases other than natural gas is greater than 10 wt% .

* Sour natural gas and acid gas compression

* SPX 7000 will dissolve high levels of water ( up to 20% ) at temperatures below 70º C, helping to prevent corrosion during compressor shutdown.

* Gas re-injection service

* As SPX 7000 and water are mutually soluble below 70º C, damage to producing gas reservoirs is minimized.

* Industrial gears and bearings operating under high load and extremes of temperatures

* Extends tooth life in gears; eliminates spalling, pitting and wear; effective in protecting bronze-on-steel gearing surfaces.
