This hand held instrument is designed to find and monitor leaks of VOC gases such as Acetone, Nonae, Octane, Pentane, Benzene, Isobutene, MEK, MPK, Styrene, Toluene to name but a few from an exhaustive list.

These VOC gases are found in chemical and petrochemical refineries, storage and processes and are present in many other industries.

The product is at home searching containers, vessels or pipelines for leaks or simply atmosphere monitoring, checking to make sure workers are safe from exposures of these gases.

A selection of gases are pre-programmed into the instruments software making it extremely easy to use and select either the gas or even the cocktail of gases expected.

The instrument has on board datalogging, continuously storing readings every second. With an increased memory capacity the instrument can store a minimum of 37 hours worth readings – that’ s over 130, 000 readings!

The instrument has alarms for Short Term Exposure Levels ( STEL' s) or Time Weighted Average ( TWA) when used in the environmental monitoring mode.
