This retro typewriter has a smart " wood effect" panel above the keyboard. The keys give a nice " clunk" when used, and are all responsive and do not stick. The current ribbon is ok, replacement ribbons are available on ebay. This is a metal typewriter, and is very well made. Unfortunately there is no carry case for this typewriter, but it does come with the original manual, Item is in excellent condition
